In this division, the dancer's emphasis begins with barre work, where she learns proper body placement and awareness, correct French terminology, and the overall musicality of movements. As the dancer progresses through the division, the emphasis becomes more on proper ballet technique, placement, terminology, and musicality, with an even greater focus on building the strength needed to execute steps on demi-pointe leading to en pointe.
For the serious dancer. In this division, the dancer continues to build strength in movement, musicality, and overall technique through more difficult ballet combinations and en pointe. Dancers in this division are required to attend multiple classes per week to better advance their training, maintain proper technique, and understand the commitment necessary to achieve their goals and aspirations of dancing at a higher level.
VBTS offers a wide range of instruction for dancers of all ages & levels. If you don't see the class you want or if you have questions about what level is best for you, please call!
